For a short, tour-focused trip the choice is usually Las Vegas Strip (shows, High Roller, most day-trip pickups) vs downtown / Fremont Street (canopy, older casinos, often easier evening walking). Visit Las Vegas positions Harry Reid Airport as just over ~2–5 miles from the Strip depending on which figure you read on their getting-here page — either way, airport-to-Strip is a short ride compared with most U.S. cities.
