About Canyon Compass
Canyon Compass is an independent visitor guide to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim and the gateway towns of Tusayan, Williams and Flagstaff, Arizona.
What we do: compare what visitors actually book — the Grand Canyon Railway, day tours from Flagstaff and Sedona, helicopter and airplane tours from Tusayan — alongside the free ways to see the rim.
How we work: every guide is researched from National Park Service pages, Grand Canyon Railway, the lodge operators, Groome Transportation, operators’ official sites and public booking listings. Each lists its sources and the date its facts were last checked. Our guides are written with the help of AI tools, then fact-checked against those sources before publishing. We don’t publish invented reviews or pretend to have taken tours we haven’t.
Independence: we’re not affiliated with the National Park Service, Grand Canyon Railway, Xanterra, Delaware North, any air-tour or tour operator, or any tribal nation. See our affiliate disclosure.
