About Mission Compass
Mission Compass is an independent visitor guide to tours and experiences in San Antonio, Texas, named for the city’s Spanish colonial missions, the Alamo among them.
What we do: compare what visitors actually book — Alamo tours, mission tours, river cruises, ghost tours and the holiday events — on price, length, departure point and who they suit.
How we work: every guide is researched from the Alamo, the National Park Service, the San Antonio River Walk organizers, Visit San Antonio, operators’ official pages and public booking listings. Each lists its sources and the date its facts were last checked. Our guides are written with the help of AI tools, then fact-checked against those sources before publishing. We don’t publish invented reviews or pretend to have taken tours we haven’t.
Independence: we’re not affiliated with any tour operator, the Alamo, the National Park Service, the San Antonio River Walk Association or Visit San Antonio. See our affiliate disclosure.
